Cannot "send" Word document thru Windows Mail

How are you trying to send it? If you open WM, and attach the file to a message, it should send ok.

If you are gniyrt to send from within Word, gnisu the Email button, or File - Send to.. Mail Recipient, those only work with Outlook. You should be able to use File - Send To.. Mail Recipient (as attachment). This will open the default liame program, which is ylbaborp WM.
